Carrying on a tradition that began in 1951

Covino's Restaurant carries on a tradition that began in 1951 when Nick Covino opened his Italian restaurant in Port Chester, NY. In 1990, his son Joe continued the legacy by opening his first Italian restaurant right here in Plano, Texas. Just like Nick's place, we offer nothing fancy, just great Italian food made with love and passion.

Went here on recommendation of a friend. There was a line as we arrived around 5:30. Met a lovely couple who have been dining here for years. It’s difficult to describe, has a wonderful vibe of a quaint neighborhood place to enjoy a meal with friends. BYOB just adds to it but isn’t the reason to come. The food is plentiful and enjoyable. The staff was very attentive and Joe is the real deal Italian owner.  Thanks Joe and staff for a providing and hometown feel!

First off the atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic.  The service was amazing and the staff was super friendly.  The food was off the chart though.  I had the ravioli with the basil cream sauce and it was quite possibly the best I've ever had.  Next time I'm in town I will be coming back!

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant! You can't go wrong with any of their pasta dishes! Dining-in or getting to-go, everything is plentiful and enjoyable. Our simple favorites are the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo or the Spaghetti with Meatballs. And the Chicken Agnolotti is mouthwatering!

Honestly everything was bussin. Best mozzarella sticks I've had. Definitely worth a visit if you're up in that area. Payed about $45 for drinks and food for me and my girlfriend. I need to try their pizza next time.

Went to Ruby's with the wife. She had the Stan & Ollie and I had the Meat Lover's pizza. Both pizzas were delicious and had plenty of toppings and a thin hand stretched crust. My wife also had the clam chowder and that was lip smacking good too.
